The beach villa is one of two seaside cottages owned and managed by Teri Gibney. The other is the garden cottage. Our beach villa slept two in a beautiful king bed. The cottage had all the necessary amenities including a full kitchen, multiple seating areas for dining and other activities and a nice bathroom.

During the summer months it is harder to find a shady spot. The Gibney Beach cottages are located steps away from a perfect beach. My wife and I stayed at the front cottage for a week at the end of February. The beach was rarely crowed and we thought it was one of the best beaches in St John. Teri, the owner, is very friendly and made some great restaurant recommendations.
The Gibney family still owns the west end of the beach, the stone house is still there occupied by one of the daughters and her family. There are two charming vacation rentals there, it seems like a lovely, tropical place to stay if you don't mind the island parties and the sound of Oppenheimer's laughter.
