I started with the chat room first week in October, did the sim for 3 months and am now back trading live in January. Previously I had traded on my own for 9 months and decided I needed some sim time and additional training after reading Andrew's book. I do have hotkeys set-up in the street smart edge platform.The Positions tab displays all open positions for a given account. The positions are displayed with real-time quotes - regardless of which Schwab venue you used to enter or exit the position. The Market Value is calculated based on the number of shares and the current price. Creating an alert. In the Create Alert window, enter an Alert Name. Select an Expiration date. The default is the current day, but you can set alerts to expire up to 60 days out. Also, watch lists that have been created on Schwab.com and the Schwab Mobile App will be available on StreetSmart Edge via the Open Watch List menu identified with a green cloud sync icon. Make the desired changes to a Watch List without exceeding 40 symbols. Un-syncing (Sync Off) the Watch List will remove it from the other applications.

The watch list tool allows you to monitor a wide range of streaming market data (Last Trade, Volume, etc.) about securities of interest to you.
